Q3 is a quartet featuring contemporary original jazz by composer and pianist Martin Hallmark. The band also features virtuosic US tenor sax player Kevin Flanagan, and one of the UK’s finest electric bass players in Tiago Coimbra whose credits include Hiromi, Resolution 88, Dennis Rollins and his own Zero Gravity Trio.
Q3 has achieved critical acclaim for high quality intricately crafted melodically driven compositions with latin, funk and arabic influences and the band’s latest album “Water Speckled Midnight” was released in 2024 to rave reviews. Talented multi-instrumentalist Chris Diamond completes the quartet on drums.
The band will be performing original tracks from Water Speckled Midnight, new compositions and from their back catalogue, as well as music by Michael Brecker, Pat Metheny, Christian McBride and Bheki Mseleku.
