Returning to St Neots, guitarist Louis Thorne will be playing a programme of Django Reinhardt inspired “gypsy jazz”, backed by a stellar band of local and not-so-local musicians.

About the event
Louis Thorne is a Cambridge based guitarist, session musician and composer. He has played gypsy style guitar on film sountracks, sessioned with the genre-smashing Young Punx and has compositions on a DeWolfe music album alongside ones by Stephane Grappelli. He's appeared at Ronnie Scotts, The Jazz Cafe, Pizza on the Park, The Hippodrome, Glastonbury, The Big Chill and played with Tina May, Alan Barnes, Toni Kofi and Paulus Schafer amongst others.
He will be joined by Chris Diamand on second guitar, Joel Humann on bass and Stacey Dawson on saxophone.
